OK so today I'm home alone. Izzy is sick sadly, and Nick is hanging out with his girlfriend Britney. It's kinda weird at home sometimes, especially whens it's dark outside. Now I'm not saying that I'm scared of the dark. But whenever I'm home alone I feel like I'm being watched. But anyways that's off the subject I wanted to talk to you guys about today.
As you guys can see from the title today's post is about ole' tall and faceless himself: The Slenderman. The slenderman, for those who don't know, is a tall humanoid figure anywhere from 8-15 ft tall depending on the situation. He wears a black suit with a red or black tie and his most significant features are that he has NO FACE and TENTACLES STICKING OUT OF HIS BACK. He also has the ability to teleport or just move really fast that part is not really clear. The slenderman used to be just an entry in a contest on something awful forums. But since he has been created he has become insanely popular. Slender has multiple series dedicated to him on YouTube and many games. But his popularity grew the most when a series called marble hornets was created on YouTube. I'm a lazy ass and don't feel like explaining the series so if your curious go on YouTube and watch it yourselves. (Warning spoilers) But for those who have seen it.... Who else wasn't surprised by who masky was? It's a great series but really could they make it more predictable. Another great series for you marble hornets fans out there is Everymanhybrid it's an interesting idea. I've seen all the marble hornets and Everymanhybrid videos up to date. I've even read some of the blogs. Some of my favorites so far are seeking truth and making it count.
So what has brought this slender madness of your favorite weapons collector Roy? I don't know if you read the comment left by Izzy yesterday but she suggested the game Slender to me. So I went and downloaded it and played it. Well frankly it terrified me. For those of you who haven't played it. The game starts you in a dark creepy forest with the simple objective of collect the eight pages. I played it and I almost peed my pants. I only managed to collect like three pages. Before I stepped into the toiletless bathroom. I was walking down the hallway of soul crushing darkness and turned a corner and there he was tentacles and all. As soon as I saw him I actually jumped out of my chair and fell to the floor. After I played though I was intrigued by the very idea of this creature. That's where I learned a lot about him.
I swear someone is watching me but its probably just my midnight nerves. Oh jeez Izzy just called me and told me to get to her house now. She sounded like she was crying. She never cries unless it's something awful. I gotta go now! I'll fill you all in later.
